Senior Analyst (Dx/LSR Focus)

Health Advances is seeking PhD(s) to join its Diagnostics and Life Science Research Tools (Dx/LSR) practice as a Senior Analyst.

All interviews are case-oriented and provide the opportunity to work through actual examples of our projects.

  • Synthesizing research findings into persuasive actionable insights that allow clients to achieve their business objectives
  • Conducting technical and market reviews
  • Performing in-depth qualitative and quantitative research with researchers, clinical lab directors, clinicians, patients/consumers, and industry experts
  • Executing quantitative analyses including learning to build forecasts and financial models to support clientsí decision-making
  • Collaborating with team leaders to select appropriate analytical approaches
  • Creating and presenting portions of client presentations
  • Supporting the growth of the diagnostics and life science tools business by contributing to the development of internal training materials and external publications and posts


  • PhD-level training in the life sciences, ideally immunology, cell biology, cancer biology, neuroscience, infectious disease/microbiology, molecular biology
  • Interest in developing a deep understanding of the in vitro diagnostics industry
  • Exposure to the diagnostics industry through the clinical laboratory, laboratory products, and/or point of care testing perspectives
  • Experience in the life science research tools industry a plus but not a requirement
  • Located in or willing to relocate to Boston or San Francisco
  • International experience and language skills are not necessary, but valued
  • Strong quantitative skills
  • Excellent oral and written skills
  • Desire to work in a team environment
  • Ability to prioritize and focus time effectively to meet multiple client-driven objectives

Health Advances will consider H1-B sponsorship for candidates who have PhDs in the life sciences and are eligible for a minimum of 24 months of an OPT (Optional Practical Training) from their start date. We have open positions in Zug, Switzerland, and Hong Kong for candidates with work authorization for those locations.
