Market Insights Manager

Health Advances is expanding its advanced research capabilities by adding a new Market Insights Manager position. Primary responsibilities include working with project teams to help design market research approaches and methods to meet client and project objectives. This role will be responsible for research design and execution. This position reports to the Vice President who leads the Market Insights Team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with consulting teams in the design and execution of primary market research studies, with a main focus on quantitative studies 
  • Assist with project execution on projects with complex quantitative survey methodologies, including questionnaire development, sample-plan design, data collection oversight, programming, and analysis/reporting
  • Attend trainings and educational seminars to improve use of internal methodologies and tools, and to expand market insights generation methods 
  • Develop marketing materials around Health Advances insights generation expertise and join sales calls to demonstrate HAís knowledge of insight generation techniques and methods
  • Collaborate with advanced analytics team to create Insights and Analytics solutions, supporting advanced research techniques 

Qualifications

  • 4-6 years of market research project experience; experience with consumer healthcare/ healthcare / pharma market research preferred
  • Self-starter with entrepreneurial spirit to help grow the market insights center of excellence within Health Advances
  • Bachelorís degree in Business, Marketing, Social Sciences, Psychology, Sociology preferred; Masterís degree preferred
  • Experience with the design and analysis of advanced quantitative methodologies (e.g., key driver analysis, segmentation, conjoint, factor-analysis, MaxDiff, etc.
  • Demonstrated success building trusted relationships with clients and managing research studies from end to end
  • Experience with statistical software (Excel, SPSS, SAS, etc.)
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent project management and organizational skills
  • Genuine desire to learn about life sciences consulting
  • Ideally located in the Boston area and willing to travel to the Newton office
