Senior Analyst-Zug (January 2023)

All interviews are case-oriented and provide the opportunity to work through actual examples of our projects.

As part of the case team, the Senior Analyst will work on projects to:

  • Assess market opportunities
  • Develop commercialization strategies
  • Develop portfolio and life cycle approaches
  • Develop market access and Health Information technology (HIT) strategies for pharma, medical technology and diagnostic companies

Working on all of the above, the Senior Analyst will be:

  • Conducting technical product assessments
  • Reviewing clinical literature
  • Performing in-depth qualitative research with clinical and industry experts
  • Collaborating with team leaders to select appropriate analytical approaches
  • Creating and presenting sections of client presentations


An ideal candidate has the following qualifications:

  • Must be currently living in the Zurich area and have authorization to work in the EU
  • Masterís degree in the life sciences or economics
  • 2-3 years of experience in the healthcare industry (medtech, biopharma, diagnostics) or in consulting in this industry
  • Solid understanding of European healthcare landscape
  • Fluent in English and at least 2 other languages, preferably German, French, Spanish, or Italian
  • Position requires travel within Europe and to the US periodically
  • Willingness to come to the Boston area for initial 2 weeks for training
  • Strong quantitative skills
  • Excellent oral and written skills
  • Desire to work in a team environment
  • Flexibility to respond to changing client needs
  • Ability to focus time effectively to meet multiple client-driven objectives
  •  Must be available to start in September 2021

Health Advances has openings for our Zug office for September 2022. At this time, Health Advances will only consider candidates for the senior analyst position who have work authorization to work in the Zug office.
