Overview
Health Advances seeks MBA students with consulting and/or healthcare industry experience to join the team for 8 to 10 weeks during the summer of 2023. This internship is an ideal option for professionals seeking to combine their business interest with a passion for healthcare. Interns at Health Advances will learn about our practice, experience our culture, and make valuable contributions to our project teams.
MBAs work with the Chief Talent Acquisition Officer prior to arrival to offer input on individual goals and to determine preferred subject matter. Each MBA intern is paired with a go-to “buddy” in addition to a formal mentor at the case-team leader level. The mentor will assign work streams and offer coaching and feedback throughout the program.
MBA interns get exposure to all aspects of our business including case teams and structure, case mix, training program, firm culture, healthcare industry, and the business of healthcare consulting. MBA interns are ideally staffed on two projects where at least one of the projects starts and finishes during the internship. Our interns are fully integrated members of the team who participate in all aspects of the project including client meetings and presentations.
All interviews are case-oriented and provide the opportunity to work through actual examples of our projects. A successful summer internship will likely lead to a full-time offer.
